The only thing that's NOT out there digitally is Wonderful Life (original mix) and the b1 cut on the Better Than Love EP, Mother Nature.

Sony has blatantly gone out of their way though in terms of playing it "too cool" and hopefully it doesn't hurt them. Great pun by the way. I'm afraid it will hurt them though as things just don't work like that anymore. Secondly, as I pointed out several times, all of the Hurts 7" EPs are garbage as far as quality and weight. The 7" I get sent over from Polydor (Interscope-Universal) could knock a grown man out cold. It shows a lack of experience on Sony's part and being out of touch with alternative consumer bases. Mind you I'm 23 years old so if we're all in agreement in our responses, and I'm sure I'm one of the younger individuals in this forum, then Sony has a huge problem! Who does they think they're speaking to? Again, hopefully Sony looks towards indie imprints and lifestyle brands such as Kitsune to assist them and put them back in touch. The Music Gourmandizerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07492372097985799032noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2558055401220732192.post-81438082468323660732010-07-13T10:00:32.615-04:002010-07-13T10:00:32.615-04:00@The Music Gourmandizer - I don't think they&#...@The Music Gourmandizer - I don't think they've been made commercially available in digital form. Issuing them on a picture disc 12" is a waste of time and money. It's not even the cool hipster thing to do.

Sure, Kitsune may have done Sony a favor, but let's get real. Make the cool shizzy available to the masses. Sometimes playing it too cool hurts. Pardon the pun.Vinny Verohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11167457760151973169noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2558055401220732192.post-64047483079340174282010-07-13T09:44:26.654-04:002010-07-13T09:44:26.654-04:00"Let's hope those Arthur Baker mixes are ..."Let's hope those Arthur Baker mixes are part of the CD format. Not much can be done with them since they've only been made available on a picture disc 12" single."

Not too sure what you meant by that, but that Baker remix has been licensed to the annual Kitsune comp. We'll see how things play out, but that Arthur Baker remix may be Hurts' link to their primary consumer base- the hipster/indie/nu-disco crowd. Kitsune really did SONY a favor in my opinion. The Music Gourmandizerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07492372097985799032noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2558055401220732192.post-57162883924133318522010-07-11T10:39:04.688-04:002010-07-11T10:39:04.688-04:00@Echorich - I agree. It enhances it.

It's somewhat intelligent. It's memorable and melodic. And for those reasons they seem to be out of step. But that's what makes them interesting, as well.

There's a lot riding on the album. I hope it's as good as we hope and expect!Vinny Verohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11167457760151973169noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2558055401220732192.post-25420761692534957752010-07-11T10:28:21.665-04:002010-07-11T10:28:21.665-04:00I have been able to spread HURTS interest to a goo...I have been able to spread HURTS interest to a good number of friends in the past few weeks. There is something about this band that anyone who appreciated pop music of the last 25 yrs just gets! They may be a band out of time, but I feel like I need this band and album right about now.Echorichhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02853063796135973187noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2558055401220732192.post-48794266343533613802010-07-09T10:52:29.472-04:002010-07-09T10:52:29.472-04:00I mean, it HURTS.I mean, it HURTS.xolondonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05527843352134958287noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2558055401220732192.post-62780286066731809902010-07-08T20:21:51.936-04:002010-07-08T20:21:51.936-04:00Love the picture.
